Photographs

We can accept your photos in several ways:

• Mail: Send the photo to us or call the photographer to request it be sent directly to us. Dog show photographers want to see their work appreciated -- they're happy to cooperate. We will return all photos after the issue is mailed. Please provide name and mailing address of the person to whom the photo(s) should be returned.
  
  
• Email: When sending photos electronically, you must start with a high resolution image. If you're scanning it yourself, do so at 300 dpi at 100% of the image's size. Save the image as a JPEG or TIFF for most predictable results. Send your photo as an e-mail attachment to julie@sightandscent.net.
  
  
• CDs: You may mail CDs with images to Sight & Scent Magazine, 14112 Industrial Road, Omaha, NE 68144-3332.
  
  
• FTP: All of our clients are encouraged to use our FTP site. Be certain to provide your name, company, phone, e-mail, and the name of your ad in the form provided so we can match your files to your ad.

Ad Copy, Design & Layout

In addition to a photo, please provide the text for your ad, either typed or printed clearly. Be sure to include the dog's registered name, call name and owners, breeders and handler. You may also wish to include the sire and dam, phone numbers, addresses, thanks to the judge(s), your dog's titles, accomplishments and/or rank. Please provide the source and date of the ranking.

Once we have your photo and text, our designers will create an outstanding ad. If you have specific preferences regarding font, colors or layout, please let us know.

Ad Type & Payment

To complete your ad we must know what type of ad you want and receive payment. Type of ad refers to color or black & white, number of pages, and where you would like your ad placed in the magazine. Preferred pages must be reserved so call to find out what is available.

Payment should accompany your ad. We accept checks, money orders and all major credit/debit cards. A 3% service charge does apply to credit/debit cards. Please be sure to include the cardholder's name as it appears on the card, the complete card number, expiration date, security code, and billing address. Please also include your mailing address as you will be sent a copy of the issue in which your ad appears.
